Dragon's Dogma II is one of those games that I yearned for, I wished for it, and now that it is here, it is exactly what I wished for. Dragon's Dogma concerns you with the mundane as much as the extravagant, concerns about how much of your pack is taken up by herbs and equipment, your character's height and weight. it all matters as much as the fact that a dragon stole your heart and now you are the rightful sovereign of the country and must slay said dragon in an epic quest. it is the contrast between relaxing in an oxcart and then moments later it is attacked by a monster, wild and strange, that makes this game what it is

For as long as I can remember I have had a dream of making an RPG because I felt there wasn't one that felt exactly like what I wanted. when I played Star Ocean 2 I realized the game I wanted had existed this entire time

While there's things I would prefer this game do more of & lean into more, the game that we got is nothing short of the true crowning achievement of the iteration from software has been doing for the last 20+ years on all their games

Hot Damn, this thing came out of nowhere! and somehow it's incredible! I think we really need more adventure games coming out again where there's actual thinking and mechanics at play to move forward because Paranormasight is at it's best when you're stuck at a wall trying to figure out the narrative reason you cannot move forward and suddenly the way is shown by some smart mechanical & narrative design harmony. Truly a game anyone should pick up and give a shot at least

Titanfall is a great game with some of the strangest execution. being a multiplayer only game with a story mode that is also just matches with scripted events in them is a bold move that I don't think worked out super well but you gotta give them credit for trying. the only other issue was player counts being really unstable on anything but the Xbox One

Mostly a good time. Some of the midgame can be frustrating and the last 10% of the game can be Mind-numbing, but overall it's a good game with a firm step forward for Dragon Quest as a series

Absolutely classic, a little archaic but it truly is one of The Games of all time

Retribution is the version of Dawn of War II to play if you're playing online but I can't help but feel like it's a little lesser as a full package than the base Dawn of War II or Chaos Rising. I don't think the campaigns are bad but they just didn't grab me like the others did. Still a fantastic game

A recurring theme with Star Wars games is better than average movie tie in games and Republic Commando is no exception, although it does rank on the lower end personally. the presentation does a lot of the heavy lifting here because its mostly a Just Fine shooter with some light tactics to mix it up enough to be engaging.

X3 is a little bit disappointing, sandwiched between X2 & X4 but honestly it’s just fine. If you told me that it was the only game I could play for a day I would probably give you a resounding “sure” and not fuss too much about it

Honestly better than you would expect from a video game designed to be a movie tie in, it’s got some cool little gimmicks with the bounty hunter stuff and the size of the levels and verticality makes for cool gameplay once you have the full kit of stuff

Good times! In some ways I do prefer left 4 dead 1, but all the additional content and mechanical changes make this the one to play, I’m not a huge fan of the new infected types added here but a small gripe for a great game

more focused level design than the base game of crysis but generally the same flaws apply. for once it helps for the game to be exceedingly short

Genuinely, CA needs to bring actual naval combat back I don't care if they thought it sucked it is insane to make a map with this much water and then its all land battles only and then your land battles aren't even very good

There are almost no bad mario games but galaxy is such a slow game that it makes me want to take a nap, and I have actually fallen asleep at least three times while playing
