Just a girl/boy having fun keeping track of their games, i do some reviews and stuff sometimes, btw the way i rate games is out of ten, if i rate a game 3.5 stars, it means i think the movie is a 7 out of 10.

I cant believe it, A Game inspired by Getting over it that is actually well made, challenging in a fun way, and requires real skill and practice to beat rather than mastering an incredibly broken and unpredictable physics system? actually so awesome

dont get me wrong, i like bennet foddy's work, but whenever youre playing getting over it, it feels like youre fighting the games controls rather than just controlling your cauldron dude, but this game makes you feel so much more in control and this improves every aspect of it

this game is just as punishing as getting over it, and you will likely rage and die inside, but instead of it feeling unfair cause the broken physics messed you up like in getting over it, every failure feels like YOUR failure, not the game's failure, if you fall, that was your fault, and since it was your fault, it makes you want to overcome your failure, get better, get over the hurdles

basically this game masters challenge and reward in a genre of rage game like this, i fully think this game is much better than getting over it so give it a try if you enjoyed that

brilliant idea done brilliantly, the one arm gimmick and all mouse control is unique, interesting and works well, and even ignoring the most unique part of this game its still a expertly crafted survival horror game, exploration is executed well, fun and tense at points and the gunplay with the manual reloading makes works really well in making this game immersive, the only problem i have with this game is the times i had where the gunplay turned from fun and interesting to annoying and janky, the mouse control is well done but not perfect and sometimes while shooting (especially while shooting an enemy close to me) the hand would move in weird ways that i didnt want it to which led to some frustrating deaths, that isnt exactly common though and you can work around so its not a major issue

While the graphics, artistry and atmosphere is all on point and great, this game feels like it focused so much on all those things that it forgot to be an actually fun game, either that or it felt like it needed to pad out its run time for some reason

i say that because 90% of this game is just tedious puzzles that feel like busy work, and just parts that feel pointlessly redundant for the sake of wasting the players time, i honestly dont understand how this game was critically acclaimmed when it launched, do game critics just look at a pretty artsy game and think they have to immediatly throw a 10 at it without thinking about if it was an enjoyable or thought provoking experience? i wanna like this game and at times i do but that felt like 1/4 of my playthrough, very dissapointing
