86 characters, 115 stages, and over 1,000 songs from dozens of different popular series. That's a massive accomplishment and this game will go down in history as one of the most insane crossover games ever.

This is to me the best Zelda game. Great puzzles, great collectables, a fun story, etc. It has everything I like about the series.

Peak story!
Peak party members!
Peak gameplay!
Peak music!
Peak (PS2) graphics!
Peak fiction!

I genuinely enjoyed every aspect of this game and have no complaints. The only downside to this game that prevents me from recommending it to other people is that other games must be played before playing it. I don't think those games are nearly as good as this one is but I did enjoy them too and this game is so good that is makes them better by extension.

Story:
Easily the best Pokémon has ever made. The characters are all mostly very likable with Grovyle being the best written Pokémon character. It also has genuine RPG plot twists that mainline and most other spin offs desperately lacks. The ending is one of the first games to ever make me cry and if mainline had as much good writing as this; it would without a doubt still be in my top 5 favorite video game series.

Gameplay:
RNG generated dungeons where that you move around to find stairs to proceed. Combat is tactical turn based somewhat like Fire Emblem. I like.

Things I'd change in a remake:
Let players chose what mon they want to be after the questions if they aren't satisfied. Add mega evolution like the Rescue Team remake did. Adding good voice acting would be poggers but knowing Pokemon that won't happen.

X is by far my favorite Final Fantasy game. Such a great story, characters, and gameplay. Easily worth the price by itself.

X-2 is not as good but consider it a kind of post game extra and it's a nice bonus addition. Play if you want more but X is perfect standalone.

Last Mission is really boring IMO but it's literally such a insignificant extra that it's not even in the title. :P Don't bother playing it.

Easily the best Dragon Quest. Each chapter gets progressively better until eventually each character groups up for one epic final chapter. Some chapters feel super unique like when you play as a shopkeeper with a goal of making money. Not to mention it has a great villain and extra content added to the remake.

The story starts out great and ends as one of the greatest stories ever told! Genuinely some of the best plot twists I've ever seen. I like how deep the psychological focused on character development is and how well thought out the world is. It was and still is an ambitious masterpiece. Gameplay holds it back slightly as some aspects are outdated but it was absolutely worth the play regarding. If you like old Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, or newer Xeno games I would definitely recommend as it has connections to all of them.

Gameplay is a slight improvement upon the original both in general touch of life changes and having less repetitive goals however the story while still interesting isn't as crazy as the original. Needing to completely play the entire game over again multiple times for all the endings is a giant downgrade from being able to just replay chapters where the story diverges. Game would be a lot better with some adjustments. I think this is a good sequel in several aspects but it has clear flaws and if I had to choose one I'd go with the original (especially since the best parts of this game come from the references it makes to it). I'd only recommend if you liked the first as the gameplay definitely isn't for everyone. Also if you do decide to play I'd say just search the alternate endings online and watch them. Not worth replaying the entire game 3 times.

One of my favorite FE games. Story is good (not the best in the series but fun), great characters, a post game, tons of side content like fighting armies from every previous game in the series, introduced a team up mechanic, etc. It's one of the few in the series I actually feel like replaying.

Horror games aren't really my thing but something about this I just really enjoyed. Maybe it's the side multiplayer mode? Maybe it's the cool stranded ghost ship setting? Maybe it's something else? Honestly not sure but it's definitely my favorite Resident Evil.

This platformer is incredibly underappreciated. Easily one of my favorites. It's a lot like Kirby in many ways (cute platformer where the protagonist has transformations) but has a lot of its own charm that makes it stick out. Both gameplay and story are nice. I wish we got localizations of the previous games in the series and that the series continued past this one.

Hype:
Dragon Quest is my favorite series so this was easily my favorite fighter reveal.

Importance of inclusion:
This series is also very important as it inspired the entire JRPG genre. Many if the other DLC fighters (Joker, Steve, Sephiroth, Aegis, and Sora) are from series inspired by DQ and likely wouldn't exist without it.

Multiple protagonists:
Having 4 protags that represent some of the most popular games in the series is great. 4, 8, and 11 are among my favs so I'm really glad they were chosen and 3 is arguably the most important RPG from a inspiration standpoint so the choice was good.

Fighter gameplay:
Gameplay wise their normal attacks are nice but not too crazy. The real special thing is command select which is so crazy fun. They probably have the most amount of attacks in the entire game because of it.

Other representation:
The stage is good. The background is very detailed but the playable layout is kinda basic. Music is underwhelming. Having iconic monsters as spirits is nice although there could've been more.

The real mountain was in our heart.

A great game about fighting one's inner demon while scaling a mountain. Great difficulty progression with optional levels that are very hard. Overall a very good game to play in a day or two. It's also great for speedruning. Free DLC adds extra story and introduces many new gameplay mechanics.

Only reason I'm not rating higher is because it is of course pretty short and not something I think I'd be able to sink that many hours into.

Nice free DLC. Good story that feels like it relates to the theme of the main game and new interesting gameplay mechanics but the difficulty spike is a bit much for my liking and I wish it didn't suddenly require a bunch of collectables from other levels to progress.

It has quickly become my favorite game in the series when it comes to story. Great world building and a good portion of the cast was really enjoyable. Ike is now my favorite protagonist in the series and I can't wait to play it's sequel. I'd love if this got a enhanced port with some quality of life changes. Not that it aged bad because it aged very good but I do think some changes could make it perfect.
