I played this with my boyfriend's family and it was super fun. It kinda lasted way longer than we expected tho. Might do custom rules next time.

I only won like 20% of the matches I played but was pretty fun with others to play with. I'm a Kenshi main.

Fun story and while my win streak on multiplayer is quite low I did enjoy it a kot.

My boyfriend kept killing me frame one but it was fun. Spikes are scary.

I'm a little uninterested in doing this single player TBH (as in I prefer Lego and Rocket Racing over this) but it is chill to do with friends. I've had quite a few nice sessions with my boyfriend and his family playing this together. I hope this gains a lot of dev support and crossovers.

Cleaning has never been more fun but it's still just cleaning so kinda boring after a bit.

Not nearly as ambitious as the Lego mode but some brief fun. I like the advanced tracks with multiple routes and obstacles a lot more than the super basic tracks.

I love building towns in this mode. If this gets updated consistently it'll definitely be something I revisit often. I hope they add a button to move objects vertically up and down and expand combat.

The entire DLC pass is a wonderful expansion that doubles the amount of tracks and fleshes out the roster for the ultimate Mario Kart experience. The sheer amount of content is crazy. This update in particular adds the most new characters and brings back a few nice final tracks to end off Mario Kart 8's decade long DLC run.

"I'LL KILL YOU AND THE NIGHT!" 🔥 Much better attempt at a 3D Castlevania than the previous but series def still works better in 2D. Gameplay wasn't the best even for the era was released but it was fine enough. Has a fine origin story to the franchise.

Might be the best narrative Venom has had in the history of the character ever. I enjoyed how multiple playable characters were used. There's not many flaws with this title, but I will say there were a little too many fake out deaths to be as emotionally high as the first game. That said, this is definitely the better than the original overall when it comes to gameplay and other aspects of the storyline.

This series lost its charm and quality. Every main numbered entry added a massive amount of new characters and often mechanics to be a more definitive experience. It honestly feels like they just took 4 and modified it slightly.

I guess if you didn't play 1-4 then the story mode that covers the main series is worth it but if you already have the others then just play them. The new original story is uninteresting.

The fourth wall breaks felt overdone but otherwise this game is filled with an intriguing narrative, fast gameplay, and well designed settings. It's def among the best modern Ninja Gaiden esc games. This also made me appreciate SoS more.

I played the prequel game first so some of the moments like the guardian gods talking hit surprisingly hard. Playing this made me appreciate the other game more too.

This took me a while due to my interest in it wavering and the game's paving but it's a very high quality indie that pays tribute to the SNES era of RPGs well. It's very clear this was at least somewhat made to appeal to Chrono Trigger fans and it actually manages to cover quite a few tropes from other games in that era (although going into specifics would be a spoiled). It's definitely worth checking out if you want a modern take on the classic formula.

Edit:
After playing The Messenger I now appreciate the story and setting more. The map recreations, boss, characters technically showing up in both, etc made this a lot more interesting looking back.

The idea of Smash Bros with anime characters is fantastic but there's a lot of factors holding this games back. The Japanese only language barrier, amount of time it takes to unlock most characters, being on the DS, and simplicity compared to other arena fighters do not help it. I say simplicity but that doesn't mean there's not a lot of effort put into it. You just don't have as many attack options available as in say Smash Bros or most other arena fighters.
