Been playing Sonic since the Genesis days. Loved Sonic mania and honestly those games hold very well. I was really hoping they would make a Sonic Mania 2 and when I saw the trailer for this game and was really confused why they abandoned the 2d sprite work. The gameplay looked fine but the graphics didn’t look great. It’s 2d 3d but in some levels it’s hard to distinguish between what’s in the background and what’s actually part of the stage. The first half of the game is fun and has some really fun points. The later half of the levels feel clunky and cheap. There are many points where you run and a pit or one hit kill obstacle kills you out of nowhere.

Some of the bosses can be really tedious and boring. The bosses remind of the Sonic rush where you have to wait through a boss to cycle through a bunch of moves and then you can attack. So the bosses take for ever to beat. The special stages aren’t bad just feel kind of random on how you win.

The music slaps and then can be some of the most generic Sonic music I’ve heard since Sonic 4. The game became very tedious and unfun to the point where I got bored and quit. There is fun to be had but if a game isn’t catching your attention or is boring you then I’m not gonna waste my time.

Get it on sale. The game is not worth 60 bucks. Really wish they would’ve stuck with mania devs and made a sequel to one of the best Sonic games in years. Was a very odd choice and it shows.

I just finished the game and it was really fun. I never played the original but always wanted to. The script is hilarious, the battles are fun, the characterization is enjoyable. The game feels a little dated, I can imagine that this game was probably crème of the crop in the 90s but by today’s standard it’s still really good. It is pretty easy. I’ve heard the post game is challenging but haven’t tried it. Overall this game is really fun for both rpg fans and Mario fans. Even though it was easy it was fun and I wanted to keep playing. However I don’t think it’s worth 60 bucks. Like this would be a 3ds port back in the day. I rented it. If you want it and are on the fence, I would say wait til it’s on sale.

This game is fantastic! The music is amazing. The graphics are crisp. The levels are fun. The attention to detail is stunning. You can find diverging paths that need to new levels. This game is a master piece. Controls can be stiff at times especially compared to number 4. But it’s still really fun.

I tried. I really did. I wanted to like this game so bad. The character designs are great, the music is fantastic! But the story was not interesting to me and the gameplay bored me. The worlds are vast but not interesting. The combat is ok. Not the best in my opinion. I got a quarter of the way through and just couldn’t continue there’s a lot to do but a lot of it to me we’re tedious fetch quest. I did not enjoy myself and I played for hours and got to a point where I thought to myself, “If I’m not having fun, then why am I playing this?”

I love Digimon and I love card games. Boom. Digital card battle! You play as the kid from Digimon world 1 and you fight Agumon with digital cards. You play against the kids from the show, enemies from the show and when you think you beat the game, you didn’t. This game is long and can be fun. But becomes tedious. It’s a card battle game and there is a lot to it. Try it out. It’s not bad

This game , to me, is the most average Megaman game I’ve ever played! It’s fine. Some bosses are lame (Chargeman), some are cool (Gyroman). Some music tracks are ok. Some levels are ok. The game is playable. It’s fun at times. Other times it’s generic. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s not bad. It is ok.

Dragon Quest tactics is a real time strategy game. I love he monster designs, I love the variety of monsters you can recruit, and it has that Dragon Quest charm. Its a phone game so you have the option to buy gems to recruit more monsters but this game gives you a lot as well. It’s not glitchy, it’s updated often, your given monsters and high level characters as well. For a free to play phone game it’s pretty good. It can be grindy but there is an auto battle feature if you get tire.d I honestly just have this game in the background while I’m doing other things. It’s quick and easy to pick up.

I saw a review of this game on YouTube and it peaked my interest. Shinobi 3 is one of my favorite Genesis games so i thought this would scratch that itch. The story is pretty generic but it’s sets it up well. Tyrannical government deploys guardians to protect them from rebelling citizens. Moonrider is one of those guardians but he decides to fight back and crush the tyrannical government.

The game is a mix of Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Megaman x, and contra. You fight humanoid robots, armored soldiers, and mutants. The music is pretty good, a mix of Japanese style music combined with thumping techno. The game play is alright. You fight 8 bosses and then to Dr Willy’s tower. Moonrider feels kind of stiff at times, he can jump on walls, can run, and attacks with a sword. You can unlock chips that increase your defense, increase attack range, hp regeneration and more. Some of these feel like necessary gameplay features, such as the dash or double jump.

It feels kind of odd having to choose between health or defense and features such as dashing or double jump. You can only place your load out at the beginning of each level. So it’s just odd. Dashing and double jumping do not break the game at all and in fact there are moments where it seems almost necessary. Just such an odd choice.

The boss battles are forgettable. No strategy really. I honestly just stood next to them and just melee’s them to death. The levels can be fun and interesting. One you have to ride a motor bike shooting robots and soldiers. One your jumping from ship to ship on an aircraft armada. Another, your being chased by a giant robot through the woods. Some of the levels are definitely high lights,

Overall it’s very ok. Check it out if interested. I played it once and I’m good.

I love the Pokémon TCG. I don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend on cards so this is a nice way to enjoy the game. I use to play the original app and it was good. Match making was always quick. They had tournaments, trades, but could be very grind heavy and not to mention unlocking coins to get packs took a while. They decided to over haul the app in 2021 with a brand new engine. It looked promising.

I download the app, boot it up and all my old cards are gone. My old strategies and decks are gone. That was disappointing but I was excited to start a new meta from scratch. Your avatar model looks a lot better and I like the customization options. The game isn’t completely pay to win as you unlock gems and use the gems to by packs or pay for a season pass. If you get a season pass you unlock booster packs and rare cards. Each season they give you a new deck and the decks can be pretty good. Match making is quick, it’s easy and enjoyable.

There are two styles of casual which nets you experience and coins which can be used to unlock more customization choices for your avatar as well as cards. Then in competitive mode you can unlock ladder rewards which include cards and exclusive outfits for your avatar.

Downsides are that making friends is very unintuitive and is a feature that you have to dig for to know it exist. There are no tournaments (yet) and I hope they add more features. But aside from that the game is fun. I play periodically through out the day or when I’m bored and it’s fun. Check it out.

Wow. This game is fun! The music is great! The character designs are excellent! The levels are fun! If you like Megaman, action games, platformers, you must check this out. Your main character is so fluid in how he controls, all my deaths felt like my own fault and not video game cheapness. You can customize your characters move set with unlockable abilities. The boss fights are fun, with each feeling challenging and unique. This game is not very long but it’s so fun to play. I really hope they make a sequel this game.

What an absolute delight! Mario 3, Mario World, Mario land. All great games and some of the best in the 2d series. New Super Mario Bros. was our first 2d-3d Mario in years and it was fun. It was nice to go back to roots and have it be in 3d, especially in 2005 when all we had was 64 and sunshine.(Great games!) But then they kept making New Mario Bros. games and they became stale very quickly.

Then the trailer drops for this game and we have Mario as an elephant, berries that turn the world into trippy mini games, and a plethora of new ideas . We see loads of new mechanics new enemies and new character models! Finally, something new and exciting. I was all aboard the hype train and was not disappointed.

The game is fun. It’s the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a long time! The music is great. Level gimmicks are rarely reused and each level felt unique. Wonder berries are located in each level and they all have crazy effects. Again, rarely ever reused. They range from moving pipes, Mario transforming into various objects, and rhythm games? They are all fantastic! The bosses are ok and I wish I saw bigger and more creative ones. But the levels are so fun it didn’t bother me much.

There are 7 playable characters(more if you count palette swaps) and a plethora of new power ups. The elephant form is fun as run and knock out enemies with your trunk, the bubble for is similar to fire Mario instead using bubbles to make platforms and kill enemies and then there is drill Mario which can be used to find secret passages .

Nintendo listened to our criticisms and it’s a delight to see such creativity on display. This game is fun, full of surprises, great controls and is the most fun I’ve had playing a game in while. Difficulty is not the hardest. It has challenging moments (especially later) but it’s not Kirby easy. There are also a plethora of badges you can get that give you special moves that make the game fun or some times challenging. This game is great. If you like platformers, get it. If you like Mario, get it. If you have friends and family who love to play games, get it. It is excellent.

What a fun time. This game was great. I never played the original but I love and grew up with the Genesis games. I had so much fun with this game. Many times I smiled at little Easter eggs and just fun moments. There are some bugs and physics issues but the music is great. It looks great and I had so much fun. I haven’t smiled playing a game since sonic mania. I loved it. Would love to see more game gear games remade.

Great game and great follow up to a great game. Lots of mystery and intrigue. Great characters, funny characters. Cool new worlds. Great writing. There are some fun mods on steam to add to the experience. Only downside is it ends kind of abruptly do to it being rushed for time when it was developed. The biggest sting to this game is the fact that we don’t get kotor 3 but still it’s worth checking out.

It’s great. A great sequel to a great game. Fun new mechanics involving building that can literally break the game. The more fleshed out story is more interesting than the first. There is a healthy level of challenge and there is so much to explore and collect. Fun characters and a lot of new in the land of hyrule. If you love the first then you’ll love this and if you haven’t played the first you’ll still enjoy this.

This game improves upon the 2nd game and tones down a lot of the tedium. The story is fine but the character writing is good , it really makes you care for main character and his friends. The combat is excellent with some new style change forms added, a customizer in which you can equip Megaman with added upgrades than can change combat a bunch of new and challenging bosses were added and a an epic let boss fight that is decently challenging. This game also has an epic end game challenge at the end of it. This game was the first in the series that i played and I loved it! It’s my favorite in the series and having recently replayed its an all time favorite for me. This version is actually the first one that came out in Japan it has some different battle chips a different boss fight and it’s missing a bonus boss fight from blue. I’d say blue is better by just a bit. The giga chip exclusive in blue is op compared to the bonus in this.
