Look, I am not going to sugar coat it. This is worth $70 without a doubt.

If you played TLOU upon release in 2013 on PS3, buy it.
If you played TLOU Remastered in 2015 on PS4, buy it.
If you've just now gotten your first PS console since the PS2, buy this game ASAP.

There is a strange narrative that a studio should have the right to charge its players $70 for a remaster. That would make sense if this wasn't a 2013 game being made in the likeness of the best 2022 games. TLOU Part 1 puts the original tooth and nail with the likeness of TLOU2 from a couple years ago. There was no sacrifice of art style, and the fact that the canon sequel doesn't share the exact art style with the original game proves it. THIS is what TLOU was always meant to look like in the end.

The foliage alone is worth the price of admission and that's not even to mention better modeled characters, the Dualsense compatibility, and the overhauled Gore features. Buy this game the second you're able to and then buy TLOU Part 2 immediately after.
