You don't realize how important this Yo-Yo is for the game until you pick up something with your double jump. Also, why isn't there a traditional ranking system in this game?

It's the Zelda CDI games, but if they were well designed games

This is like the perfect example of a game that if everything, but the gameplay interests you, you should give it a shot regardless. Such a sleeper hit and it's a damn shame it was overlooked

If the Sonic Series were restaurants. Sonic Mania is an delicious local joint that puts all the love and care into what they crafts, meanwhile Sonic Superstars is McDonalds. Except McDonalds is the expensive one for some reason.

As someone who has played Beat' em ups for the longest time, I gotta say this is probably one of the best ones in recent years. The combat is so simple, yet with alot of depth with the Tag system and Special chaining. The Rouge-lite elements making choosing your stages alot more fun. The music is just an pumped up as you will be to pound some dudes! If you want an pick up and play type beat' em up, this is the perfect one. Double Dragon really needed this game tbh

It's pretty much just Jet Set Radio with all the jank ironed out and polished to near perfection that it could be.

Not the best that Rayman has to offer, but probably my personal peak of the series. A great combat loop, powerups that plays towards Rayman's strengths (ignore the shoe), the enemies are the most unique in the series. Although it's level design was very streamlined, the story is hanging on by a thread, Globox is there for reasons. I feel like if they did a new 3D Rayman Platformer, they should expand upon what this game did.

A very short and sweet shooter that knows exactly what it is and runs with it. It's fashionable style flows through the entire game with it's presentation. The combats "specific gun for specific enemy" works very well for this type of games.

A very cute game about a morbid topic about starting a cult. It perfectly blends the town building and rougelite aspects of it's gameplay perfectly for a near perfect feedback loop.

Despite the RNG combat, the games story is a fun expansion to the Aether universe. It's aesthetics are top notch, it's characters are very charming, some jamming tunes! Hell, even with the flaws of the combat, it'll always be satisfying to pull of a risky play in this game. If you dig strategy games or are a Rivals nerd, give it a try!

Slade, Hamir, and Artemis for Rivals 2 please.

Fun game with fun weapons, a beautiful art style, and some excellent level design. Yet, their was always this weird aimlessness to everything I did. The game ends on such an abrupt note and in such a sudden fashion that I was left fairly underwhelmed. Also, the Switch port has no gyro aiming, which was a pain to get used to after other throwback shooters on the same console did.

It's probably one of my top 3 Pokémon games. Really, like all the new pokemon this time around. Terastlization is a surprisingly fun gimmick. The ability to follow 3 different stories anyway you want is really cool. But, wow, the performance is abysmal. The devs needed another year, considering Legends Arceus came out in January. It's great step for the series, but I hope the devs get the proper time to work on it next time.
