As I worked my way through the forbidden lands, slowly killing each colossus, I knew somehow I was making a mistake. Apart just Wander and Arvo, the Colossus are the only creatures on the map. Slowly we wipe away this last sparkle of life in the attempt to save the lady at the alter. My heart hurts for Wander, knowing he had to sacrifice his soul in order to bring her back, but the return of nature signifies a new beginning for both the lady, Wander and the Forbidden Lands. My time with this game wasn't perfect, but it has left a lasting impression. To face a beast so mighty to save someone you love...

I am 130 hours in. I dropped the game in early August because of school and work. I didn't have the energy or the time to dive back into Hyrule again. This week I found some time to get back into Tears of the Kingdom and folks WE ARE SO BACK. I know a lot of people have felt the magic wear off the game as time passes but it all feels new to me. Taking a break is exactly what I needed, and I am itching to play every chance I get. The game is near perfect, with some story issues typical of 2010s Zelda and a few unanswered questions (that apparently won't be solved in DLC. WHERE IS KASS NINTENDO?) But even with all that said, I think I have a new favorite game :^)

That was really cute! I wish every company released a well polished lighthearted visual novelle for April Fool's Day! Favorite part was learning that Shadow loves his coffee beans only, eaten with a spoon. That is so stupid and edgy haha, everyone is written very well and it made me smile :D
