I like it a lot. It’s more fun to play than the original, I’m using all of the guns this time. The updated presentation adds to the atmosphere more than I thought it would, jump scares I know are coming still get me. It looks so nice and sounds so creepy I’m lingering around areas picking up on environmental storytelling that might have been in original? I would have preferred a new Dead Space but this is cool, I never played the sequels so if those get remade I might check em out. Either way, I recommended it to horror action fans or people with memory loss like me.

That being said the original game still holds up and there is really no benefit of playing this remake over the original aside from “ooh shiny”. The original is also available on almost any platform for quarters.
