This went so hard man. Compelling villain. A whole cast of diverse personalities and walks of life. Great banter and dialogue. Fun as hell. Torneko was such a baller man we he says his son is a superstar i cried. The ending had me tearing up. Good memories
While I didn't understand the mechanics too much, I had so much fun with this one. It felt like an even more grand adventure than the first 2!! A much better flow with the story progression, didn't feel as aimless as 2. especially with the newly added map :')
Also adding in boomerangs and whips and all the new spells made combat infinitely better.
It was just a step above in every way.
Also I faught for my life at the end but it was a freakin awesome boss rush, shoutout to the sages stone

Honestly, very short and sweet. The story was simple and I think it does a good job of leading you through the world with a clear mission.
As long as you have a world map pulled up on any version where you don't have access to one, you should be okay.
Random encounters are never fun, but what can you do, it's an 80s jrpg. I had fun though, the atmosphere and music were great and the npcs were funny.
