A short and pretty fun game nearly ruined by its atrocious boss bottles.

Didn't mind this! Maybe it helped that I played it a year and a half after it came out? Or cause I only paid like $8 for the game + expansion? Barely ran into any bugs. I had fun with it. The first two hours kinda suck but then the game opens up more and the humor and characters get better. They're nowhere near as good as the characters from the others but I didn't think they were as bad as everyone made them out to be.

I like the series but I don't find it to be as great as people think the others are. They tried something kinda different here from the previous games, it doesn't really work, but it's not at all the "one of the worst games of all time" bullshit. Not even close. I was in the mood for a GTA like game and since I played all the others, this scratched the itch.

Reminded me of all those B-level Resident Evil-like clones that were all over the PS1 era. Tries to do a survival horror game with a Dead Space feel but doesn't completely succeed.

If you go in expecting a Dead Space like game, you'll be severely disappointed which is I think where a lot of the negative reviews came from when it launched. Combat is pretty simplified and slow paced. Once you mastered it, the game isn't hard. Especially when you can start stealth killing about 2/3rds of the way in.

Story isn't bad, it looks great with some great atmosphere and creepy settings. Around 10-12 hrs long? If you're interested, get it when it's cheap like I did.

Liked it just as much as the first one, maybe a tiny bit less? Felt like the story and travel was better in this one but the combat was weaker.

A pretty average game that still somehow held my interest for the whole 20 hrs it took to complete. Gunplay that got repetitive over time, a convoluted story, annoying protagonist, many glitches (including glitched achievements). But again, still kinda enjoyed it. Worth a shot on game pass which is really the only reason I played it.
