Finally beat this game after dropping it and restarting it more than once. Overall I think I enjoyed my time with the game and I really love everything about its style and personality, but this game is so damn clunky at times it really brings the game down for me. Some levels like Rusty Bucket Bay I could genuinely consider being made for the purpose of a rage game, trying to get all 100 notes in every level can get extremely annoying, especially when dying causes your count to reset.

I think the last couple hours of the game, including the final level and boss sequence is really enjoyable though and really made me appreciate the game more right before the end.

I think Blue Stinger has a lot of cool ideas and is a solid survival horror especially on the Dreamcast.

It can be decently funny which I sometimes wonder is intentional. The story was kind of all over the place and weird but I still thought the setting was pretty interesting despite a ton of mistranslated dialog and set pieces. I'm also a big fan of some of the boss fights and environments.

Game has a ton of weapons, several I didn't even get to to try so i'd say it'd be fun to replay. However, the general clunkiness overall makes it something I don't see myself returning to, but I'm still glad I checked it out and enjoyed my time.

Yeah this game kinda sucks if I'm being honest.

The original Pikmin is one of my favorite Nintendo games, and has always been unrivaled for #1 in my personal ranking of the series. So for this game to challenge that way of thinking for me is a big deal.

From the gameplay, to the levels, the areas, enemies, story, characters, just everything this game perfects it. It all just feels so finely crafted which is to be expected given the wait, but I can safely say it was worth it.

I still think I like Pikmin 1 more just due to how replayable it can be, but ever since I played this I keep switching which one I like more since they're just both so good.

One final thing I'll say about it is that I'm so glad after 4 entries, Pikmin 4 finally figured out how to incorporate things like battle mode and time trials into the story's gameplay, and I think that was probably the best thing they could have done.

This game is hilarious, and it's pretty fun too. It is just a 3D interpretation of the WarioLand series and I think they did a pretty good job translating it to a new dimension. The levels are a little bland and the game is short, but if you like THE funny fat man you will probably like this game.

This game is peak.
I went through the game a second time just because I didn't want to stop playing after I finished it the first time. I'm so shocked with how well this game holds-up and visually speaking, god, this is ps1 at it's finest.

Only reason it isn't five stars is because this game can be a little jank at time with enemies stun-grabbing or the latter half being somewhat BS in terms of boss-fights. But please don't let that stop you if you're curious about playing it, the game is a classic for reason.

It's fine, and I love cool short games. But with just how... weird this game is, and with is canonicity being pretty spotty, it is hard for me to recommened.

Personally I got it for free on both Steam and Epic somehow, so if you're like me and you're curious feel free to give it a shot, otherwise I'd just look gameplay on youtube.

This game probably blew people's fucking minds when it came out on ps2, so credit where it is due truly. However today, this game is kinda whatever. Massive open world where there isn't anything of substance to do. Bosses that are extremely cool, but are also frustrating and get pretty stale pretty fast when they only have 2-3 attacks other than "shake violently". The story, well it's fine I guess but leaves so much up to interpretation it's hard to say if it's even good or bad. And don't get me started on how goofy and loose the controls feel.

That's not say I think the game is bad, just a little underwhelming. A legendary game I'm glad got a beautiful remake so more people can play it, but ultimately a game with more than one glaring issues that hurt the experience for me.

This game kicks so much ass and is easily my favorite Tony Hawk game. While it is missing the ridiculous stories in classic games like THUG1&2 and THAW, this is the Tony Hawk I can't stop myself from coming back to. Theres so many challenges it always feels like I have something to work towards, and everything just controls so smoothly it's hard for me not want to hop on for an hour when I'm bored. That's not even touching on things like custom levels and multiplayer which I've had a lot of fun messing around with. Peak TH.

I finally... and i mean finally, finished this game after so many years. JSR is a game I've been in love with ever since I was little, from the art style to the music, everything about this game aesthetically speaking is perfect to me.

That being said, the gameplay itself has always held me back. To put it bluntly, it's not great, and can honestly be shocking how a game about doing tricks on roller blades can feel so stiff and clunky. Some of the missions made me so frustrated I could never bring myself to actually finish the game.

However, after learning the mechanics and really putting in the time to really figure out the controls... eh it's still just kind of ok, not bad but just fine. I still really like this game and obviously recommend it as this game really is something special just be prepared to be frustrated by the controls, camera, and missions on more than one occasion, ultimately it's worth it.

Compared to the first game, there is genuinely no competition. Graphically and audibly this game is a massive step-up from it's predecessor, which is no surprise given the over decade-long gap, but I was really blown away but it's artistic direction as there would be so many points where I'd just admire how well detailed the areas I was exploring was. However, the improvements go beyond just technical aspects. The story is very well written and actually had me hooked, and is the first game I've played that really nails having multiple protagonists with intertwined stories.

Making the jump to full survival horror was such a smart direction to take the series and makes the game so much more enjoyable, and made me all the more excited to explore the areas around me as soon as they opened up after a mission. While I don't think the don't think the game is particularly "refined" in the genre I do think it's an improvement for the tone of the series.

I was worried about not liking this game since I personally thought the first Alan Wake was kind of disappointing. I'm happy to say however that I thought it was really good, but I can't recommend playing it without going through the first game since so much of the story hinges on it, but if you think Alan Wake 2 looks like a game you would enjoy, play through the series it will be worth it I promise.

Such a phenomenal fangame. It's hard for me to even believe how perfectly they recreated a game like Bloodborne in this style so well but they absolutely nailed it. Not only that, but all the additional content in this game (including the secret added boss) all feel so distinctly Fromsoft and are so much fun to play through, and there was never a point where I wasn't just enjoying myself.

Easily the best game in the series. All of the music is extremely catchy, and feature some of the best mapped rhythm game levels across the games. Not only that but it features a pretty fun co-op mode, an entire campaign where you play as Parappa with altered songs and new cutscenes. I may be biased as this is one of my favorite games but I highly recommend this for its charm, fun gameplay, and short length. Games with those qualities are made specifically for me.

Just better than the original game in pretty much every aspect. The plot in this game is a lot stronger than the first, and the combat feels so much more refined. I feel like this game could really be a perfect conclusion to the franchise as a whole as it leaves off on a really strong note, and this game left me feeling a lot more satisfied than the original after completion.

Exploring islands and doing the story missions are really fun, but suffers from a lack of variety in challenges, enemies, and rewards. The combat is extremely fun however and kept me playing.
