Easily the most overrated game I've ever played. Not bad, but not that good either when considered as a cohesive experience. The dialogue, performances, and cinematography are outstanding, but the plot itself has gaping holes and basically consists of retrieving a series of macguffins. The environments look amazing, but the platforming and puzzle solving elements have been simplified to the point of barely being interactive anymore (especially the climbing). The combat shows a lot of promise, but the RPG mechanics destroy the consistency as well as the game's overall pacing, and the lack of good enemies and bosses is frankly pathetic. Almost every boss in the main story is a reskin of the very first one you fight in the tutorial. Pretty much every part of the game clearly has a lot of passion behind it, but is ultimately dragged down by some other part of the game.
