This is the only horror game I have played, and I think the experience will be hard for any other game to beat. It's definitely one of the OG's for a reason. I loved the characters, the lore, the ambiance and environmental storytelling, the weapons, the combat and so much more. I felt like I had become part of Isaac's journey by the end. And am I total scardy cat? Yes. Did I play on the harder difficulty? Also yes. Did I almost cry from fear in a couple zones? Final yes. This was a game I hope to remember for a long time to come. A true standout in the genre.
