Still not entirely confident in some of the finer choices here - it’s really hard to just pick 10 games - but I found this list idea too interesting to hold off on making one. Honestly I was initially unsure of how to tackle a list like this, but seeing Fauxscerf’s own list and description of an “artistic statement” really helped the gears to click into place for me. This is less of a personal top 10 and more a list of games that best represent the tallest pillars in the medium to me (though I suppose you can probably extrapolate a lot about what I value in games from this list alone). Might end up swapping out a game or two in the future, but many of these feel pretty locked in to me.
