A rich, wacky internal life, and a challenging reality with an uncertain future. You can tell this came from somewhere personal.
It's not as good as the original, or as groundbreaking, but the effort on display here is astounding. It's very faithful to what made that game work, and easily worth checking out for any fan of it.
This is still Shadow the Hedgehog, and a lot of the things people (rightfully) take issue with are still here and wouldn't really be possible to get rid of. That said all of the actually cool things in that game are also still here, and the (many) changes this mod brings do make the game a lot more manageable.
I give this mod a full star above the vanilla game. It'd have been at least a half-star over just for cutting down the last story requirements alone, even before all the other gameplay/ mission changes
