3 years ago, i found myself finding Yakuza 0 on steam and i thought it was a cool game to hop on especially how people praised the game to hell but it was only a year after that i geniuely found myself deep in love with this series to death, going recently now after being caught up (and that was after Gaiden) i geniuely don't know what Yakuza 8 had to offer in terms of having the honor and giving the best conclusion for the most Iconic Character ever and feel fitting for him and for the people around him.

Especially after the sudden leave of Nagoshi to the RGG, they had too much in their back to deliver that and on top of that giving a insane amount of dev time more than a usual Yakuza game and for the final one, giving probably for me the most ambitious Yakuza story. I don't even need to say that they delivered in the best way i could've imagined, the amount of care and love for the long time fans of the series who has been supporting it has never felt so reassured in more ways than another.

Of course as am i writting this, i have just beat this game an hour ago so my thought's are all over the place but my most of reviews are just as soon i beat the game and gather my thoughts and i don't think this one will be different, this is the second series that i wholeheartly so glad to be apart of this journey through the end and enjoy and talk with friends as much i did especially going through hard times i always found myself hopping on and having the thought ''Keep Moving, keep trying and figure it out. As corny that sounds and simplistic, it's the most simple way to get through the hard times in life, it's just how it is.

As Gaiden did and especially Yakuza 8, it's just gives a lot of hope to what is to come for this series or any RGG game. My trust for RGG is all the way through to support them especially for how much hardships to get through this year.

Thank you RGG.

I could say a lot but I’ll definitely say this, this is one of the best remakes ever they did not miss once and I’d say improved on a lot of things, been one of my favorite games for a whole decade and this cemented it

Absolutely exceeded my expectations, I adored FC but this is such a jump in quality it’s unfathomable

Amazing storytelling, just incredible

Never would have known a niche series like this has such masterful plots and world-building

the best conclusion to the trilogy possible.
1 straight hour of crying during the finale

The moment I loaded up 3rd after finishing the second game, I knew this was gonna be greatness, this is undoubtedly in my top 5 OAT
Genuinely saddens me that this series is under-appreciated, literally 10/10 in everything, the music is peak, the plot is peak, I’ve grown attached and interested into every single character, never failed me once I’m so glad I invested my time into this gem

falcom, I kneel
words will never be enough to explain how great of a game this is. real soul real wordbuilding real characters real writing real music, this is a real JRPG this is unparalleled, if I keep going it'll just be me saying peak over and over and over, I urge you to play trails
one of the best pieces of media I've ever experienced and I can't wait to see the rest

the game was always enjoyable and fun, the story was stagnant for most of the story because it was all building up to greatness, but when it peaked IT PEAKEDDDD the finale was such a great fucking sequence of events I'm flabbergasted
loved the cast and their interactions, the atmosphere was always great and the music was always great

this really was our cold steel.... can't wait to see what this arc turns into...

I loved the cast so much, I got very attached to them quickly and I really really liked how they showed their relationships together and built up the new arc. A great ending to a great game and I can’t wait to see the conclusion of the arc

A hallmark of fiction that in my opinion mastered and perfected every thing in a video game, this game has been one very very special journey and left me with a hollowed-out heart and eyes flooding with tears
Genuinely every thing this game offered was a perfect 10/10 I can’t ask for anything better, the music, the soul, the world, the characters, the story, The npcs, the visuals, the gameplay, the feel… just everything you can possibly name in a video game they perfected it

The story itself means so fucking much to me, the way they went about laying out the main theme and just kept building on it until the climax, to me that’s cinema

acceptance of a role, defiance, determination, perseverance, faith, willpower, everything was conveyed perfectly
I could go on about this game for a whole week but I’ll just end it here by saying this is a game that I’ll cherish and never forget for my whole life, one of those incredible rare pieces of media

This has been one of the most memorable and enjoyable gaming experiences of my life if not the most

Playing this alongside my friends and being on vc with all of them 24/7 for 90% of the play through has been of the best things I have ever done in my life

despite what most people have told me about it, I liked a lot of it, but there was a lot of pacing in between the great moments, the story was very vanilla but I personally liked it and I really loved the main cast
the transition from ARR to HW was really really great

a lot of the side content really saved it for me
-Coil of Bahamut
-Crystal tower
-all MSQ trials on extreme
the first two especially were really great, and completely outclassed 90% of the story for me, true spectacles and really interesting lore drops
honestly, most of ARR was just unmemorable fetch questing with unimportant small plots and imo extremely bad quest design, the only thing keeping me interested was the excitement for the next trial and my love for seeing how the characters/story develop

really fun game it was a unique experience that I knew I would love, much much easier than I expected especially considering this is my first souls game but overall i loved the game and will most likely replay the game in the future

irst tried 99% of the bosses, and liked most of the areas except the bullshit here and there, 2 things i really loved are how little information the game gives so you have to find out yourself, and the immaculate world-building and shortcuts
