About You: Video Games

Thanks to AlphaOne2 I learned this is a thing and it seems fun. There are actually many of these on Backloggd so check them out. --> Link to template
(Edit: spelling)
Here's mine:

All-time Favourite
The thing that stuck with me most from playing it for the first time is how it challenged me to think about it. This may sound simple or cheesy but it's the truth.
Favourite Series
I originally put Final Fantasy here, but A) I only have played like half of the series so far, B) Idk if the no-repeating-games rule applies/should apply to franchises as well, and that Best Soundtrack choice isn't going to change, C) Gabriel Knight rules
Best Soundtrack
Yoko Shimomura <3
Favourite Protagonist
Every time he's hating on himself I want to give him a hug and tell him he's my favourite protagonist. Yeah, that would totally make him feel better.
Favourite Antagonist
When the antagonist makes sense but you still feel it would be morally wrong to agree in full and then you think about what morality, right and wrong mean in the first place and realize this is just a fictional universe and the force isn't real... and that is when the antagonist kinda wins anyway.
Best Story
Apart from it actually being a great story, everything about how it is structured is one of the best examples how some narratives can only truly be presented via a video game.
Have not played but want to
I mean, it's a classic.
You Love, Everyone Hates
When I tell you I actually like the protagonist, story, gameplay and open world, you may not believe me or call me insane, but I'll tell you anyway.
You Hate, Everyone Loves
I guess this is the closest fit to that description? It's not uncommon to appear when people talk about their favourite point-and-click adventures and I feel it has a lot of nostalgic value (I mean that in a non-dismissive way). While I like the art and atmosphere, I hate everything about the gameplay. It's going against so much I love about the genre.
Best Art Style
Designs, colours, lighting. Everything.
Favourite Ending
To clarifiy: The True Ending. I love bittersweet endings.
Favourite Boss Fight
Final Boss. Do all phases count? If not, I choose the phase where Sora goes 1v1 against the boss (pre-transformation).
Childhood Game
Also my first video game. Had no clue what 'bandicoot' meant and for the longest time assumed he was a fox.
Most Relaxing
It's like meditation to me.
Most Stressful
Even more stressful than seeing the alien is hearing it: rumbling through the vents, hissing, its heavy steps when running at you, when you hear a door open/close, the beeping of the tracker...
Game you always come back to
I think many games fit that description, but I choose MGSV because A) I've played through the story multiple times B) Spent many hours on each playthrough not just following missions but also playing around in the open world C) I regularly get the urge to play this because I've got no stealth game like it D) It's so meta that it got me feeling phantom pain when I'm not playing it?
Guilty Pleasure
It's so limited, but that actually makes me want to savour it all. I have no idea what I'm saying.
Tons of Hours Played
It's... uhh... ca. 860 hours.

I need to do a list like this soon. Might leave out the last category... I've put way too many hours into TF2.

@T0M196 Yeah I guess the number of hours goes through the roof with multiplayer games!

Ah I love this list idea, I totally agree with Alien Isolation, that game actually produced analysis paralysis for me where I was just too stressed to move second guessing where the alien was all the time.

@FallenGrace Same for me. I honestly would have never finished it alone; my brother watched me play and kept pushing me to move whenever I was paralysed.
