Had an absolute blast playing through this game for the first time. Old school Pokémon! You can really feel how polished this game is after making 2D Pokémon games for 20 years.
An absolute head scratcher. The last two hours were so much fun and even gave me some Xenoblade vibes, but the rest of the game was unpolished and rushed. The only reason why I played through it was because it was a Pokémon game and that makes me sad.
Throughout the years I restarted this game three times and every time I quit because I got bored. This was my final attempt. It reminds me of Secret of Mana, where it has a lot of charm, but it just doesn't holdup anymore if you don't have the nostalgia for it.
