Had an absolute blast playing through this game for the first time. Old school Pokémon! You can really feel how polished this game is after making 2D Pokémon games for 20 years.

An absolute head scratcher. The last two hours were so much fun and even gave me some Xenoblade vibes, but the rest of the game was unpolished and rushed. The only reason why I played through it was because it was a Pokémon game and that makes me sad.

Throughout the years I restarted this game three times and every time I quit because I got bored. This was my final attempt. It reminds me of Secret of Mana, where it has a lot of charm, but it just doesn't holdup anymore if you don't have the nostalgia for it.

If you look past the sometimes clunky controls and really invest time in the characters and the world of this game. You'll find one of the best narratives ever written. The story from start to finish is an absolute masterpiece and makes it one of my favorite games of all time.

A game that doesn't know if it wants to be a single- or multi-player. Thankfully, I had a good friend to persevere through the story, as I don't think I would've completed it on my own. Four expansions left to go...

I don't get how people could play this for more than a couple of hours without getting bored, because you have to do the same dungeons constantly, or frustrated, because the combat feels sluggish and annoying.

Yes, it's a good Zelda clone, but at what cost. While the open world is fun to discover, the gameplay is outdated, the controls are frustrating, and some of the '8-bit inspired' tunes hurt my ears. It's a shame that this game wants to be a Zelda clone more than a good game.

As someone who normally doesn't like shooters, the campaign was surprisingly ok... While the game was fun, I do think that it is wildly overrated. It felt more like an improved Xbox 360 game than something ground-breaking, which some people are shouting here.

Blurry graphics, boobs, awesome gameplay, and an amazing ending. It's definitely Xenoblade and I loved every single second of it!

An amazing follow-up that has some tedious parts. Thankfully, the story makes up for that and is one of the best stories I've ever seen in a game.

Today I did it! I got every single star in every cup. Since the 200cc release in the original Mario Kart 8 on WiiU I've always been a little bitter that my completed game suddenly wasn't anymore. Nintendo, don't you dear to release a 250cc mode!

A glorified mobile game that I would've loved as a five-year-old.

Simultaneously a step-up and step-down from the first game. While the maps and the campaign are miles better, it does lose some of the charm and simplicity I liked so much in the first one. Overall a very enjoyable follow-up.

A 7-hour game, that I quit after 5 hours because I was so bored.

Decent. Still had some bugs, even in the Definitive Edition, but nothing game-breaking. Abandoned the game in the tower at the end, once it became clear what it took to finish the game. Apparently, I'm not the only one looking at the small 2.5% of players who got the achievement for finishing the game.
