This game taught me to avoid falling victim to sunk cost fallacy. I should've trusted my gut and quit 8 hours in when I decided to stop playing because it was so tedious. I usually don't have a problem abandoning games/books/films quickly if it doesn't keep my interest but as someone who's trying to get more meaningful experiences from games, I decided to continue this one due to the massive hype and acclaim. Fast forward 87 hours later after completing the game, it only had some mildly better moments, not enough to make it a worthwhile experience.
