Snigglegros commented on Snigglegros's review of Hades
@Hebi I mean it is how mobile games are structured (from my experience), and I think it works well for it, but I don't have that particular drive to keep playing. Mobile gaming has had such a huge impact on gaming and non mobile games are gonna take the cool stuff from them if they can. Hades has these same things I think of when I look at a mobile game for a little bit (multiple currencies, small upgrades, and ive seen a couple different mobile games just have decorating rooms as a "core mechanic"). Maybe its the other way around and mobile games took all these mechanics from older games (probably idk), but point is Im saying its like a mobile game in a completely neutral manner because I don't think it's a detriment to the game really (cause its what the game wants to be).

The art is nice, the characters are good probably, I don't doubt Supergiant in that department.

@moschidae I like the artstyle and it like good/easy enough to just shut your brain off. Second half was too much a spike, but it had accessibility options. There are some fun synergies you can get that makes a weapon as big as the room you are in so you are just screen wiping enemies with a weapon. it was kind of just a "that was chill".

Snigglegros finished Hades
Upgrades behind upgrades behind upgrades. This game feels structured like a mobile game, except it just asks for you time and not your money; and since they probably wanted to make a "infinite" rogue lite, yeah sure. I just find the gamefeel just slightly not good enough for how fast the game can be. Yeah, mainly just talking about getting filtered by elysium duo boss. Whatever, its fine, but for sure least favourite Supergiant

Snigglegros finished Subnautica
I don't really fuck with survival craft games to much and I was thinking I would get into this more than others, but nah. I fuck with exploring this scary alien ocean, but actually trying to find the resources I need annoys the living fuck out of me. I quit and just went to creative to freely explore and that was dope.
