Absolutely worth the hype and praise it gets and I'm not even a massive RPG fan. Filled with love from every corner and incredibly fun to play while feeling thought provoking and passionate in the same beat. Big fan of the talking flower he rules.

It almost feels wrong to say it's great but it really is. Manages to subvert every possible weakness from the start and build it into something meaningful and poignant with every scene communicating something important. One of the most visceral and real portrayals of mental illness in a VN I've ever seen and I can only imagine how well the full game will build off of this. Very much worth the read, especially considering its length.

Really good for how fast it was created. The horror is subtle in how constantly uncomfortable it is and the writing here is impressive in a way that sticks with me specifically. Hard to recommend to others but definitely one I would say is special to me. Thanks gale!

The most incredible <2 hour experience of my life. Went from being skeptical of the ending to being blown away from it. Please play blind if you can.

The ending is just an incredible catastrophe and some of the writing choices made are uh, not great. Still has some solid writing and a cast which is fine but makes you wonder how great it truly could've been if it stuck the landing in the last act.

This game will preach empathy and love to victims of all kinds of bigotry EXCEPT racism and then woobify the weird pedophilic relationship. Abhorrently inconsistent and just miserable to think about, worsened by how average and unremarkable so much of the game's strengths feel beyond the 2 obvious highlight characters. Just read Umineko instead if you want to see this sort of story done with any tact and more interesting writing to boot. One of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a game.
