i don't understand how this is different from any other city builder, except space is slightly more constrained and you have one additional resource (monster happiness) to manage. just seems wildly uninterested in its own concept.

I've given up on understanding what I'm supposed to do and will continue living knowing if that were me in their place I'd die in the first 5 hours

This game is an amazing accomplishment in storytelling. Without getting into spoilers, the comic book, bathtub, and cannery segments were stand-outs. However, while it's oozing creativity, the gameplay is nonexistent, making me unsure if I'll ever return to it. Although even if I don't, it was an impactful experience I won't forget anytime soon.

I mean, it does what you expect to: you can drive. And that's it.

While it is the weakest of the trilogy it does introduce the wonderful world of mass effect to us and I can't help but love it for that

The most disappointing of the Mass Effect trilogy, but still strangely good. The game isn’t awful but it basically is just 2 but not really improving upon anything.

So yeah the ending is pretty lame, but honestly, how do you complete such an epic story in a satisfying way? Apart from that, the game is awesome. maybe ME2 is a touch better with its characters and story but this is almost perfect.

Was this the one where you had to scan planets for resources, cos that fuckin sucked though.

if it only got more packs and wasn't programmed by 3 apes on crack...
