Jesus Christ, April's packing the whole bakery

Gameplay wise this is by far the worst one out of the first 3 games. It's not really challenging as there's only 1 animatronic and I could beat the game without knowing exactly how he works, which would basically be impossible for 1 or 2

Besides that the game is pretty cool tho. I like the lore and Springtrap is a cool animatronic, even if his jumpscare sucks. The atmosphere is also pretty spooky but idk, in general this game is the most disappointing one so far

Actual peak fiction right here. While the inconsistent frame rate (fixed on Series X) and medal collecting are genuine issues, alongside the Drift not being the best, this game's packing the best Boost levels with it being the fastest it's ever been, a great hack n slash in the form of the Werehog, the best visuals of any 3D Sonic game, a phenomenal soundtrack, and, while not on the same level as SA2, Battle or the Storybook games, a good story that genuinely made me tear up at the end. Without a doubt, this is my favourite game of all time.

Retro's been using some black magic to make this game look and run as well as it does on the Switch of all things. All that's missing is the Fusion Suit, which is the only reason this isn't a 10 out of 10.

For what's supposed to be the Ultimate version of Sonic Colours, this was a major travesty at launch, to the point where the European physical release was delayed. Inferior lighting to the original, a forced listen to the divisive remixes prior to the final patch, various visual and gameplay related bugs alongside rather lackluster new additions have cemented that SEGA truly is unable to release definitive rereleases for 3D Sonic.

Hades

2018

This game embodies a mixture of fun combat and a compelling narrative. Mixing a roguelite game style with a good story can be tough, but Supergiant knocked it out of the park with this one. Hades mixed a style of constantly changing level layouts and upgrades with a narrative about escaping Hell through the help of the Olympian gods. I was able to stay engaged to the story despite the countless hours of battling and collecting treasures thanks to the gorgeous art style and great voice performances for the characters. My main playstyle is on mobility mixed with high damage but the game has so many weapons, boons, and upgrades that anyone who even remotely enjoys the hack and slash genre can find something they like here. This game gets my highest recommendations.
