Pretty lame, basic game. My playtime says 2 hours and even that feels high.

It still blows my mind that Burger King made 3 video games starring their weird, hilarious King mascot that cost just $5 each. I miss the days of companies doing weird shit like this. None of the games were particularly good but I still enjoyed them and they hit at the perfect time in my life when I was going to BK a lot. <3 Chicken Fries <3

This game gets 4 stars for one reason and one reason only - Tanks. Like many people, I bought this for the extra controller and hey cute little game why not. I was not expecting the tanks game to consume my life the way it did. My best friend and I were obsessed. The best I ever did was 2 days after I got my wisdom teeth taken out, I was hopped on on Vicodin and in some drugged-up zen state where I sat on the couch and just flew through the game I never reached that far again.

Maybe it's just because there were basically no games to play on the Wii back in the day but "offroad racing game with motion controls" was kind of fun.

I had skipped Wind Waker when it came out, so Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game I played since Majora's Mask and man what a fantastic way to return to that world. The dungeons, tools, aesthetic, soundtrack hit so damn hard, and I even enjoyed Wolf Link and the Wii motion controls. I loved this game so much that it became the first Zelda game that I actually 100%'d on my first playthrough - every heart piece, every poe, every bug. Twilight Princess rules.

Easily the best pack-in game and "here's what our hardware can do" showcase that exists. Historically, I'm the kind of person who needs carrots on sticks to chase, things to unlock, etc. but I put so many hours into this game just playing it for fun. So many good memories of playing with friends and family. Truly, the Wii was a phenomenon and Wii Sports played a large part in that.

This was my introduction to Carcassonne - a game I would end up playing many more hours of both digitally (across other app renditions of it) and physically. As someone who had never really played a lot of interesting board games before, I thought this was pretty neat.

It is shocking how bad Two Worlds is. It's janky af and is just so so bad. I have no good memories of it.
And yet... my logged time on the game is 60 hours and I apparently played it enough to get 100% of the achievements. So I don't know I guess I had some fun with it or maybe I just had(have) a problem.

A Zelda-themed on-rails shooter with a goofy plastic peripheral that Nintendo never really uses again. What's not to love? (It is actually pretty fun)

Fun to have an on-rails arcade shooter at home. Also gave me another excuse to use my Wii Zapper.

Honestly a pretty well-made digital adaptation of the board game. Good UI with some nice animations. Pretty simple game but it's not bad. This was one of many digital board games I got during the pandemic in an attempt to keep up with my game group.

Did an all-nighter with my friend in college to play through the entire campaign on Legendary. Good memory. Great game.

Nothing quite beats the feeling of long-jumping off a little planetoid and seeing Mario orbit around it as gravity slowly pulled him in. It's a small thing, but I had never experienced something like that in video games and Mario Galaxy is full of moments like it. This game was a joy and I still think back on it fondly. One of the most original and delightfully innovative 3D platformers I've ever played. I loved it so much that I even 100%'d it which involved playing through the entire game a second time as Luigi.

Still in awe of the absolutely incredible sci-fi world we got from Mass Effect. This game for sure had its flaws but I loved (almost) every second of it. (Looking at you, Mako)

My total logged hours in this game is 100 which makes sense considering how much this took over the lives of me and my friends for an entire year. Rock Band is such an incredibly cool idea and it's a bummer that, like the Wii with motion games, after its boom in popularity it died and will likely never see a full resurgence given the peripherals required to make it work. I sometimes wonder how many plastic guitars and drum sets are in landfills across the world.
