I know most folks regard Brawl as the worst Smash but I legit love it. Part of that is thanks to Subspace Emissary which kicks ass. Every other Smash game since then has had a lame campaign and I wish Nintendo would do something cool like this again. As a casual player, I thought this game itself played just fine.

Oblivion truly felt like a wonder back in 2006-2007. A whole world to explore full of dungeons, things to find, and people living their lives. It truly felt like a big ol' sandbox to get lost in and I loved it so much - jank and all.

Big Mario Kart Wii apologist over here. I loved the addition of the bikes and I loved the wheelie on straightaways. Yes, it made bikes way too OP in this game it's for the best they reigned it in with future titles, but I really loved the additional strategy they had to them. It felt so good to time drift, into a wheelie, into another drift once you have the courses down. I was unstoppable in this game. Also there are some banger tracks in here and battle mode ruled.

Viva Piñata rules. It's a damn shame Rare stopped making these games because I would kill for another one.

To this day, when my wife and I are talking about our favorite couch co-op games we played together, Castle Crashers is always toward the top of the list.

I think this was one of the first proper tower defense games on the iPhone and I got pretty dang addicted to it. As simple as it was, I enjoyed it and it was a fun game to have in my pocket.

This is one of those games where my love of this game overshadows the rest of the missteps in the series. Very fond memories of this game.

My enjoyment of playing games with friends slightly outweighs my dislike of zombies so I guess that's a win.

This is the only "serious" golf video game I've ever owned. I bought this exclusively because me and some friends were very into disc golf IRL at the time and this had a disc golf mode but it flipping sucked. It was also ruled completely irrelevant by Wii Sports Resort just weeks later.

Like most folks, I bought this because it was bundled with a Wii MotionPlus dongle. I was delightfully surprised that the game itself was actually great. It's a crime that as Nintendo releases new Wii Sports successors (more recently - Nintendo Switch Sports), that they ignore most of the rad sports and fun mixes on existing sports that Resort added. BRING BACK DISC GOLF YOU COWARDS! JUSTICE FOR WII SPORTS RESORT!!

Man I played an absolute ass-ton of this game back in the day. Just a solid online FPS without a ton of bells and whistles. Great game and a solid remake of 1942.

This is a competent 2D platformer. The New Super Mario Bros series is fine and all but 2D Mario games peaked with Super Mario World and Nintendo has never been able to hit that high since.

This should've been called "Sporigins"

As a Disney fan, I thought this game was pretty neat. Loved the style and the idea. Game itself was not great, though.
We can all agree that this is a bad name for a video game and was clearly conceptualized by a bunch of marketing executives, right?

My first Assassin's Creed game and the game that got me hooked on the series. I was one of five people who actually cared about the modern-day story, the lore, and all that random bullshit. That's how into Assassin's Creed I was.
Too bad these games are bloated, boring slogs now.
