Physics-based sandbox eventually overcomes its Breath of the Wild comparisons to find its own quirky identity. "Capture" mechanic makes exploration/travel enjoyable, despite the clunky base mechanics and animations.

Serious technical and production limitations handicap what is a compelling narrative. Score/sound design stellar.

Lacks the enemy variety and depth of a Monster Hunter, but makes up for it with a very rewarding combat system built around easy-to-grasp buidling mechanics.
