A perfect blend of reimagined scenes from the original, and completely new content. This game expands so much on the FF7 universe, and it's an amazing time experiencing it all the way through! The exploration of the open areas makes the game so much better than Remake, as it allows for more freedom while playing and is what makes up an amazing gameplay loop. There's a ton of great character moments as well that flesh out the cast so much, making them probably my favorite in any game. Just like the original there's also a ton of great minigames, my favorite easily being Queen's Blood. Getting to reexperience some of the best moments in FF7 in a whole new way made this journey something special, and reminded me why I've always held FF7 close to my heart. While some of the new story content might not sit well with all players, I was fine with it for the most part. Easily one of my new favorite games of all time!

As someone who has only experienced Granblue through the fighting games, and didn't play any of the mobile game, this game is a great entrance point into the Granblue world! The combat hits all of the points I like in an action RPG, and reminds me of games such as Xenoblade and FFXIV. The story is fairly interesting, and while it's not the most original story I've witnessed it managed to be enjoyable all the same. The main fun of this game is the online portion and I can see why considering it makes grinding much more fun especially with friends. I hope they continue making games in this style to expand upon the world of Granblue Fantasy!

This game was an amazing journey from beginning to end. I have not had a gaming experience this meaningful in a while. I loved almost everything about it from the combat to the story and characters. This story does an amazing job exploring themes like freewill and the human condition. It does so through an immersive world, addicting/expanding combat, and lovable characters. Easily one of the best in the series!
