First entry I played of the series, I thought it was pretty nice shooter / platformer and not as gimmicky as sly Cooper. I ain’t know nothing about this series but if the rest of them like this? Sheeeesh. I thought the gameplay with different weapons and dimension switching rifting mechanic was pretty cool but I didn’t like the Disney channel styled writing omg that was terrible. The shotgun I had was automatically the most broken and I was just spamming especially during bosses like the heart for Nefarious’s big giant machine thing. Took it out in 30 seconds. The worlds were pretty similar I don’t remember, they tried an open world with the one with the Archives and I forgot the rest. Overall fun experience, ps5 graphics are insane hopefully it wasn’t carried because of that cause gameplay was like a bullet hell.

I did like the GOLDEN BOLT cheat thing, I turned off RPG damage numbers and that was awesome!

What a fantastic game. I grew up with Paper Mario for the 64 and I thought the gameplay and art style was perfect. This did everything but tenfold, from expanding the battle mechanics, improved badge system like stacking same badges and great humor and writing which is similar story but more! My favorite chapter gotta be Glitzvile which was a trippy conspiracy driven plot about the dark secrets behind the scenes. I did not enjoy twilight Town with the backtracking, died like 10 times after doopliss steaks yo identity and the general white backtracking to every single level finding this man so we can launch to the moon. Very sad that this had no proper sequel and it deserves to be highly regarded as peak paper Mario. I will always truly enjoy this game the music for the X Foretress. So good ugh.

I love this game.

Imagine you are the ultimate warrior and these princesses of all four whateva… just admire you and you gotta train them to be strong and stuff. So you go out with yo squad and you fight through these dungeons and kill stuff. Good story huh but me (GUH) forgot the story as it is half action RPG and Novel so I was like wow that’s a lot of text. The gameplay ain’t too bad kinda like an IOS game where you mash one button and it does like crazy amount of damage. There’s 4 princess gotta go through all 4 storylines and in the end you reunite the 4 lands and stuff. I picked Alpana the dragon princess and she was in love wit me for some reason, could be the way she written. But there’s also a warrior, rose and witch (who looks like megumin from Konosuba). Cool little game, gets repititve and the last boss Omen Chrysalis was super cheese and took me like 10 tries but it’s okay.
