My gripes with this game might be a bit silly since this is primarily a sandbox game, but considering this has a campaign, it feels fair to criticize the gameplay. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has some serious balancing issues. A big portion of the levels can be beaten with the same units, to the point that I was able to beat 5 campaign levels in two minutes with the same setup, while other units never seem to do anything. This is not to say that there aren't genuinely challenging levels with some creative solutions, but it overall greatly diminished my enjoyment.
At almost no point did I feel like I had to put any serious effort into my strategies — but maybe that's precisely the point of the game; fighting whoever you want with whatever you want. I just wish there was a little more depth to it.

We genuinely had a fun time with this game, but the occasional gunplay is weak, and the ending feels off. Not recommended if you're looking for a good puzzle game because this is not it.
The media polarizes, what a shocking insight. The game is unfortunately very linear and very short, but also feels like it's precisely what it wants to be, a very simplistic representation of reality. It succeeds, but the result is neither fun nor interesting.
