This might be one of the best games of 2023. I enjoyed pretty much all of it except for the skating, which was just serviceable.
This felt like a main quest that affected the story like a sidequest. It was good extra content that featured a few fun boss fights, including one that I thought was harder than the final boss of the main game.
There's definitely an interesting concept there and the writing is pretty good, but the gameplay feels pretty jank and simple overall. It's not bad, but not necessarily worth anyone's time when there are so many great games. I played this exclusively on Steam Deck.
