I"m torn between 2.5 and 3 on this game!

I love doing weird dressup based on my style and the prompts from other players and characters! I love the global trends sweeping the cocoons. the online does make me feel in the world of the cocoons.
It's also a delight to basically be able to add any clothes you like to the closet. It's simple, it''s not Style Savvy, but there is something compelling about just going deep on avatars! A very soothing game to play in little bits.

I'm bored by the arbitrary gender restrictions, and the fact that the only body sizer variation is the height slider.
- I also wish the designer/creator features felt more realized, and less like an influencer doing drop shipping. Real designing isn't just recoloring existing outfits.

a delightful playful sort of game - reminds me of chatting with friends and making up possible magics and futures

I enjoyed the dynamic with the behemonth, and the sense that my decisions had real narrative consequences for my version of Fortuna. I especially enjoyed learning after finishing that not everyone campaigns on eating Aednea and uses their powers to guarantee success!

I'm not sure how well the pacing worked for me -I played very slowly over a couple of months, and the shift to the campaign was surprising though I did settle into it.

beautiful.

I finally finished persona 5 strikers, this really dragged for me!

Some great new phantom thieves, and the first adult persona user!

Unfortunately, so much of the game is such a retread that doesn't land as compellingly the second time around. Some neat translations of the persona turn based mechanics into a scramble sort of game, as well as some great road trip and character moments. The palace designs didn't feel as dynamic, and the whole time I felt in an uncanny valley sort of place with these characters.

I did play on easy to try and minimize the numbers of grindy hours, mostly worked.

Worst addition? leveling up personas for fusions
Best addition? seeing other locales, the phantommobile

for whatever reason this game just completely vibes with me - when I am farming in another farming sim I think wistfully of my beautiful farm over in this game

slowly making my way through this despite my lack of innate skill

perfectly designed to hit all of my buttons (despite being so trope-y) - young people questioning authority! lousy adults! finding your own autonomy in a community of peers!
the epilogue of the third semester was a delight and an interesting reflection on the 'base game'.
the escalation to the bank palace felt sorta rough or jarring, but then I got back on board when I realized we were telling a super hero/wish fulfillment comic gonzo sorta story!
highlights: both final palaces, everything up to and including the first palace, when all yr friends help you!

so incredibly satisfying to arrange the little objects and learn about the person, but I did feel like my creativity and desire for room organization differed from the platonic ideal enshrined in the game

I enjoyed meeting the characters and the art! I I definitely was thinking about how I want to build my own dating skills. The characters feel genuine and so does the reflection of community!

However, the game sort of lacks what I consider typically visual novel/dating structure ( you don't play one character the whole time or really make very many choices), and I don't think the game provides enough framing on how it's structuring these little dates.
I think if you go in knowing that they are bunch of little date episodes you may still have a great time though!

I'm really struggling with how slowly the character moves

delightful
I liked experiencing the glimmers and shimmers of each sage's version of the game
although the actual game play was strongest in act 1

the meta wrapping plot didn't end in a satisfying way imo

totally reinvigorated my excitement about the concept of little essays

A fun and playful werewolf romp through the woods! I thought this had an incredibly strong first half, but not so strong in the back half. Possibly a byproduct of a large cast?
