Was this your first playthrough? Given how, ahem, unorthodox this game is in every regard, it's a rare enough thing to find someone love FFVIII this much, without any sort of nostalgic bias to their opinion

It was my first complete playthrough, yeah. I have a funny history with the game from before just through the internet though. I hope to get into it in my review. I gotta get back to that soon hopefully
