Main story + some side quests

To start, I have to say the narrative is a major focus of the game, which made the story and the dialogues an enjoyable part of it. The characters have their on personality and place in the plot, w/ their actions being faithfull to their motto, it all fits together nicelly. Kratos and Atreus relationship touches on some interesting points and is relatable in life.

The combat is simply epic, the feel of the combat is amazing, you can feel your veins pumping, just like the rage flows in Kratos body. The impact of the moves is out of this world! The combat starts simple allowing you to learn the basics and slowly adding skills makes it for a more dynamic gameplay. The enemies portfolio isn't the biggest, and felt that the game lacks some boss variety. A plus for me was that some enemies will have weapon resistance so you wont be able to grind the game with just one weapon, pushing your creative side, even tho you might like one over the other. The sinergy between the characters is really fun, Atreus skill set makes him stick out and actually cause impact on the combat, not just an useless budy. The thing is, Atreus is basically invencible. Also, check the arena, it makes for a good challenge!

Diverse and immersive biomes w/ environment dynamics.
The world is enjoyable to explore, and the side quests aren't dull. I believe completionists will enjoy to 100% the game, it's not the most overwhelming, but the world content is more than enough for it.

Overall If your a fan of action-combat game, and narrative-immersive gameplay, for sure hop on this game. The difficulty I choosed will make for a decent challenge, but never to the degree of a Soulslike.

My first Soulslike, a true challenge.

I'm not really a horror game fan, but after watching the live show of the Old Gods of Asgard in the Game Awards 2023, I really had to jump on the wagon and try this game.

The game is really well orchestrated, it balances perfectly the narrative and the action together, making a tremendous emersive voyage.

This is going to be a classic and a magnum opus on the genre.

Just a last note, beware, this is not for the weak of spirit, it will shiver you :)
