This game started off strong but really lost it's focus about a quarter of the way through. The music was awesome, the enemies weren't too ridiculous and the combat felt fresh. I think it was around the time of the pillow fight, that's where it sorta went to crap for me and never recovered. Shame too, because I thought it was solid.

Where did it all go wrong? Sequels are supposed to be better than their prequels, but in the case of Saw, this is a regression. Combat boils down to a QTE, with zero strategy involved. The story is detached even further from the films, Tobin Bell sounds like he's here just to collect a paycheck. This is just a small snippet of the issues with Saw II, I would not recommend this to anyone.

Saw is one of my favorite film franchises, it wasn't always perfect but it always kept me engaged. The game misses the mark in various ways, in it's combat, it's puzzle variety and enemy AI, among other things. It captures the atmosphere of Saw, but falls short in every other possible way. I'd only recommend this to the most diehard fans.

I'm not sure where to begin, but I can safely say that this is the definitive Driver experience. Incredible physics, unique gameplay mechanics, just enough nostalgia to scratch that itch but also plenty of new experiences to be had. The game runs like a dream regardless of what platform you play on, with sharp visuals and almost modern-looking pre-rendered cutscenes. This is one of the best games of all time, play it ASAP.

SquareSoft had a crazy run of successful RPGs in the 90s, but in 2001 they decided to dip their toes into beat 'em ups with The Bouncer. It's weird, wacky, but most importantly its very fun and very replayable. It's not the best beat 'em up ever, not even close, but it's light-RPG mechanics and differences in the story between characters make it worth your time.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is an excellent remake of the classic 2006 game. For me, it doesn't hold up quite as well as the the original game did, but it's still an excellent addition if you're looking for more Destroy All Humans action. Some are going to point to the cut content as a point of contention, and while that is concerning, I feel that the upgrades to the visuals, performance and controls the remake provides, far exceed a bit of missing dialogue.

Wow, what a huge downgrade from the first game. Almost everything from the first game has been downgraded. The only advantage I can give this game over the first is it's visuals and its sound, but even then if you played the PC version of the original, it's still superior to this. Skip.

Now THIS is pod racing! This game gives you such a fantastic sense of speed and even if you're not a fan of Star Wars, there's a lot to love here. Lots of different tracks and championships to compete in, hazards like rocks and ice to slow you down, with different pilots and pod-racers to customize your experience. I just found the game to be too easy on the PC side of things, so if that's a deal breaker for you, I wouldn't recommend it. I also would recommend the fan patches, located here: https://gamebanana.com/mods/50328

The death of a franchise. What a shame.

A solid, yet boring side scrolling beat em up. It doesn't particularly excel at anything, it's lacking on features and feels more like a promotional item for the film as opposed to something more. I like the way they've brought John William's excellent soundtrack to mobile devices, but ehhh that's about all it's got going for it. Would not recommend.

A pretty standard hack n slash game, with some bizarre bugs and glitches that damper the experience. The combat is straight-forward, the major plot points of the movie (best prequel btw) are touched on and there's an incredible alternate ending that this game is known for. I'd say it ranks somewhere in the middle of the Star Wars games, no where near as good or bad as some of the other entries, even on the PS2/Xbox. I'd say if you're a Star Wars fan, this one is worth a pickup.

They took everything that was fun about the original game and took a shit on it. No more individual game genres, no more arcade system, no more movie tie ins, nothing. This game has an original story, with voice acting and FMVs, which I don't dislike it's just kinda weird when compared to the first game. I found the frame rate issues distracting, the driving sections infuriating and the lack of checkpoints made me drop this game. It's like Fox Interactive was hiding under a rock the entire time between the first game's release and this one.

I originally reviewed this game in March of this year and I was so happy to go back and play it again. Still such a fun arcade experience. I love the concept that each movie is it's own genre and it doesn't dump exposition on you. You're thrown right into the action with each one. The first game is solid, but I think it runs on for just a bit too long still. The second game has easily become my favorite. The second is really difficult, but it's short and definitely a game you can beat. The third game is still awful, with bad controls, stuttering frame rate and every mission is on a time limit. Game is 100% worth it for the first two games alone. Oh yeah, and don't sleep on the soundtrack either! Banger!

I love this series but just... Wow. This looks and plays like an alpha. I'm absolutely blown away by how bad this is. Flat jokes, poor performance, a cheap and lackluster presentation. How could this happen to such a great series? Where did it go wrong? Please save your money and skip this one.
