While it's a relatively significant drop-off in quality from Resident Evil 2, I still found it to be pretty enjoyable. Unfortunately it swayed away from slowly opening up more and more of the area aspect of the 2nd, which was my favorite part about it.

Literally the best thing ever

Ruined my short charger by pulling my controller up during the last quick time event in the game. This sucked.

2016

Gets kinda repetitive so I wasn’t able to finish it as quickly as I wanted to, but it is extremely enjoyable for what it is. Wouldn’t be against going for the platinum on this.

To think I actually was planning on putting this playthrough off until i got a PS5. Was honestly surprised by how well it ran. Ran into a few issues with frame rate and and invisible enemies here and there, but nothing that bothered me too much.
This game as a whole was a special experience. The dialogues, the chemistry between characters, the boss fights and the whole damn game was absolutely fantastic. I believe this might be my favorite story in any game I've played. Watching these characters progress from the last game has been amazing. Really can’t praise it enough.
My only problems with it were that the combat could feel a bit tedious here and there, but that complaint feels extremely insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
