I only ever really played Unlimited Saga which is easily one of the worst games I've ever experienced lol.

It is on my backlog, I am curious to see where I end up with that one as well as SaGa Frontier 2

i don't think USaga is the worst game ever made (which tends to be the popular sentiment) but it certainly doesn't do itself any favors by refusing to explain how anything in the game works and just telling the player "figure it out, if you're such a gamer!" total asshole move.

the music is fantastic, though. same with SaGa Frontier 2, which is probably masashi hamauzu's best work to date; do yourself a favor and listen to the piano album!

What about Panzer Dragoon SaGa?

@aughhhh - Yeah, I played USaGa a bit when it first came out, but don't remember it, same for SF2. "figure it out" is pretty standard for SaGa games, haha.

Totally agree on the music. I hate Unlimited Saga but the music is absolutely ace 👍

I hope to get into the SaGa bandwagon soon, I just have to finish the Dragon Quest series first. So in about 20 or so years!
