A small game about a little fairy and her much larger girlfriends. Bordering on a fetish game with the whole "giantess" thing but still charming enough to not be crude or offputting for someone who isn't really into that stuff. Not that there isn't anything wrong with erotica or media that appeals to a certain kink or fantasy but obviously mileage will vary largely depending on how into that kink you are. That being said, The pixel art is expressive, the character designs are cute, and the sexual aspects are well-done, even if obviously aimed towards a certain kink. Maybe I'm just a sucker for cozy stories about queer people but I found it nice enough for what it is.

It's games like this that I find difficult to rate or even talk about. I can't say that I enjoyed myself - it's too upsetting for that - or even really understood it. It seems incredibly personal to the game's creator and, without knowing them personally, it was difficult to get a grip on all of the details that this game's filled with. I didn't get a lot out of this game but that's not because it's bad; it is because it's not for me. Ideas of good and bad are largely irrelevant because my enjoyment of the game isn’t what matters. The game was clearly made for its maker and if it was helpful to them, that’s what matters. I just hope they’re doing okay and this helped them, at least in some small way.

SuperHot is the most innovative shooter I've played in years, etc., etc...

Been playing off and on for the last couple of months whenever I've had some free time and I've had a blast.

A variation on the match 3 game, Panel de Pon might be most well known for its western version, Tetris Attack. While I haven't played Tetris Attack, the most obvious differences between that and it's Japanese equivalent is the aesthetic. Panel de Pon goes for the tried and true Japanese puzzle aesthetic of magical girls, each one representing an element, season, biome, etc. The pixel art is impressively detailed when it has to be and the character designs are all stand out in a Sailor Moon type way.

The gameplay is fun and addicting, just enough challenge to be engaging despite not changing the formula throughout the game. There is multiple game modes but the VS (which acts as the campaign mode) is my favourite, each level themed after one of the magical girls. If you're not super into match 3 or puzzle games of that sort, this probably won't be for you but if you like that sort of thing (or enjoy Tetris Attack), this is a strong recommend.

4/5

The game has gone down since its release but can be found on the internet archive at https://web.archive.org/web/20210302015218/https://tetris.com/sanrio
Purely posting this comment for posterity reasons

As a fan of F-Zero, this is probably my favourite entry into the series. Takes everything great about the original game and just improves upon it, increasing the competitiveness and addictiveness while removing all the more poorly aged bit from the original. Probably my most played game of 2023

If you like Tetris, this is it. No frills, nothing. Just Tetris.

I really like the concept behind this game but it felt like it showed its hand too early with the "ghost" flashing immediately after delivering the first flag. That and the sequences where the entity flies towards the camera and you can't move just gives the game away around the threat and the game can't recapture the same eerie feeling it had at the beginning when you know what's in store. If the reveal was more gradual, it would've been a lot more engaging but as it is, it quickly loses any scare factor. The story, by itself, is fine but the simple explanation given in-game just overexplains something that was probably better to be hinted at. Not bad and had a lot of potential but that's pretty much it.

For something with such a dumb premise as this, this actually goes much further than I ever expected it to.
The voice acting, writing, and art are pretty delightful, although the juvenile sense of humour, while working for the most part, can be a little much sometimes. It's a lot of fun for what it is, capturing an odd mix of creepiness and genuinely wholesome moments. Obviously inspired by Doki Doki Literature Club but manages to do it's own thing.

Good use of style and atmosphere but felt a little restricted. I haven't played anything else by this creator but hopefully, they're a little more fleshed out because clearly, they have a sense of how to quickly establish a setting and tone.

I really liked this.
Felt a little trapped by the format and "quiz" idea but was pretty emotional and hit close to home with some parts. As someone who has been in toxic/abusive relationships, it felt pretty emotionally honest but, like most emotionally honest pieces of media, it was a bit undeveloped and lacked some finality a more fleshed-out piece might have.
Should've had a content warning though as, clearly from other reviews of this game, it has had a negative mental impact on others and that should always be avoided if possible.

I don't really know what I just played but I was somehow still impressed

A lovely little game about people and their pasts

I really appreciate Jack's dedication to keep improving the game as it's clear it's a passion project of his and, while often kinda fun, the game is somewhat shallow and leaves a lot to be desired. A fun timewaster but not much more.

Great atmosphere, and great characterisation.
Strangely, very obviously inspired by Disco Elysium (but since that is my favourite game of all time, that's very much a positive)
