excellent bossfights and an entertaining story held back by frankly mediocre level design and generic grunts that barely fight back, other Platinum games have done a better job at balancing good combat with good level design before and after this one, it's also far from even the best Metal Gear entry, it's not even close

until the performance gets fixed up, this is a potential 10/10 and surpasses the original in almost every single way

sauceless P1 with worse soundtrack and exclusive bugs not present in original
