Ultimate was my first smash game and once you grasp the mechanics it is so fun to play. I still think this game is the best looking and performing game on the Switch, it's extremely crisp and holds 60fps the entire time. The huge roster has you covered, and the DLC characters that were introduced through this games life cycle were so good, even if there are now too many sword characters in the game. The game is a lot better to play with friends or in a social setting as the single player offerings aren’t the strongest. The online experience also struggles sometimes and the lack of gamemodes is annoying, why is there no 2v2 or 4v4 smash here! I think the amount of content this game offers from the soundtracks to it’s characters to the customisation should be commended and I really enjoyed my time with Smash Ultimate.
