Simultaneously my favorite entry in the trilogy but also the most disappointing one. I really enjoy the structure of the doors and think its pacing is the best of the three titles (outside of chapter 6), but its large party size that primarily stays in the hub area when not in use means it misses out on a lot of the character interaction that made the last two so good. I think Kevin is a great protagonist and his naturally distant nature can somewhat explain the lack of banter, but it would have been nice to have more scenes of a cast this large just bantering around together.
All my issues with the gameplay from the previous titles still hold true here unfortunately, combat is a major slog without turbo mode and the gear/orbment management is genuinely so close to being a dealbreaker, ESPECIALLY when you have to outfit everybody at the end.

While some character arcs feel unconcluded, the story overall pays off a lot of what was setup in FC to great effect. Unfortunately the combat remains dull still, with the third act especially feeling extremely tedious to the point I'd have dropped the game if not for turbo mode and the cloak orbment.
