Leisurely replayed this over the last year or so, all the way to Red. This fan favorite title gets straight A’s from me in both the visual and sound department. Absolutely immaculate vibes through and through, with a respectable amount of things to see and do.

Team building has always been a bit of a struggle here, with TMs and evolution items being locked behind side modes and minigames. But facing bosses with lackluster teams can also make for some memorable moments. The Johto Jank is real, but also part of the charm I guess!
