Mixx Entertainment

Mixx Entertainment, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles, CA by Stuart J. Levy in February 1997. They would be primarily known for distributing manga in United States, notably Sailor Moon; however they also had a CD-ROM distributing venture based in Japan. A game they distributed was Graduation, sometimes known as "Graduation for Windows 95", claiming to be "the first anime game to hit American shores". They also distributed other games to Japan, including Dynamite Joe. In December 1998 they would start the better known Tokyopop brand, and distribute other media such as video game soundtracks. By the early 2000s the Tokyopop brand would overtake the identity of Mixx Entertainment.
