It does what it says on the box! It has the illusion of depth by providing control of the bowling ball's speed, spin, and release but the results aren't consistent and pins seem to fall almost randomly. Probably best played with a sibling or friend during a long car ride or when bored during the summer as a child. As it is, I've retired it after just one play session which might be a new record for me!

It's a bad bowling game. A meh game boy game.
