"Inspector Schmidt - A Bavarian Tale" is a third-person detective RPG, set in rural Bavaria in 1866. As the young Medical student Valentin Schmidt you will travel to Wolpertshofen in order to write a report of the peoples' living situation for the King, when a sudden death causes turmoil in the small Bavarian village.

After about 4.5 hours of playing the main story was through. Due to the lack of choices, I have not seen everything. I suspect a total playtime of 6h, which is ok for the price of 15€. But I would wait for an offer from Steam.
We don't need to talk much about the graphics. It is ok and enough for the game. Unfortunately, the game does not run completely smoothly with at least 60 FPS.
The story itself was very interesting and lovingly told. Through the Bavarian accent (game played in German) it gets its own charm and that is what makes the game stand for. I can recommend the game to anyone who is looking for an entertaining detective game.
Only the duration and the technical problems are to be mentioned negatively here.
