The game contains the first three games of the popular mobile game series. Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game are able to be played with motion controls along with the traditional controllers. The game includes exclusive levels that cannot be found on the original games. The game also contains biographies of each bird, except for Hal (green bird), Bubbles (orange bird), and Stella (pink bird). In order for the game to update, Rovio released DLC packs: the Anger Management Pack and the Fowl Temper Pack.

Angry Birds Trilogy brings the addictive, physics-based destruction of the classic mobile games to the big screen. It compiles the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio, offering hours of pig-toppling fun. While the core gameplay remains satisfying and the Wii controls offer a unique twist, Angry Birds Trilogy doesn't add significant new content to justify the higher price point compared to the mobile versions. If you're new to the series and craving slingshot mayhem on your console, it's a solid choice, but those who already enjoyed the games on mobile might find it redundant.
