Anomaly: Warzone Earth

released on Apr 08, 2011

Anomaly Warzone Earth is an extraordinary mixture of action and strategy in a reversed tower defense formula. The game tasks you with saving a near-future Earth from an alien onslaught. The invaders have captured several of the world’s major cities, building huge turrets that destroy everything in their path. It’s up to you to lead an armor squad through the streets of cities like Baghdad and Tokyo, planning the route and strategically choosing which units to deploy in order to crush the opposition. Take control of the Commander, whose special abilities and quick thinking will be vital in supporting the squad in its mission as you engage in fast-paced, tactical battle across a story-driven campaign and in two heart-pounding Squad Assault Modes. Enjoy innovative game play, mixing action and strategy in a clever twist on the familiar formula--because this time you're attacking the towers. You will need to think both tactically and strategically, choosing the right squad and the best route for each mission. What worked in the last mission might lead you to wrack and ruin in the next one! Extend tactical possibilities by gathering resources to buy new units and upgrade your squad during a battle. The great graphics and audio tie this game up in a neat bundle, and a sure-fire hit with strategy and action fans alike.

A "reverse" tower defense game where you play the units that attack towers. The idea is really good and there's a lot of polish to the game but the game design is lacking. I didn't care for the check point system, and you only really needed to use crawlers and a shield unit for most of the game. I also feel the towers deal too much damage and there's not enough resources in most levels. Otherwise a solid game for Tower defense fans who want to play on the other side.

The Anomalygames are pretty good Reversed Tower Defense Games

This is a spin of the tower defense genre where the player takes on the role of the attacker. Depending on the mission one can pick units, choose skills and routing in order to beat the level. The first few missions are kind of short, and some aspects were clearly compromised in order to port the game to mobile devices so the game starts a bit slow, but it gets better as the main campaign progresses.

Esse jogo é um bom jogo de puzzle, ele é muito bom, é um jogo tático que exige realmente um bom intelecto (tanto que não consegui terminar ele), tem fases muito difíceis, é um jogo que é muito legal.
