I loved the ambience and the slice of life elements, the best parts are just exploring the areas and talking to people/doing the side quests. The brawling itself is terrible, boring and monotonous. Some of the bakugan are cool. Apart from that it's really not great, the story sucks it's copy and paste from every pokemon game and the ending is just... terrible. I'd only reccomend if you're a major bakugan fan lol

Wow. I distinctly remember me and my brother being hyped up for this. I still don't know why Subterra was taken out of the whole elemental system even if it is based on the TV show. Designs of the Bakugan are at least amazing. I really do like them. The only good method of winning is to get some meter to its max on all three Bakugan and use your ult to OHKO each opponent. Battles take like half an hour even with this method so a 6 hour game session and you might be 20 minutes into the story. Marketing it as 60 was an even worse mistake. 40 would've been far better.

Ah yes I remember when they all told us there would be a special reveal from WayForward during a Nintendo Treehouse event and we were all so excited and befuddled as to what it could be and then it was this… thanks Nintendo very cool!

It is a fine game for kids who are into Bakugan, but even after the patch, there's an over reliance on buffs and debuffs thatkind of just boil down every strategy to simply debuffing the enemy and attacking with a particluarly strong attack. There is also little incentive to collect more Bakugan as you progress through the game, and Leonidas was a disappointment.
