I really wanted to like this but the control scheme does just NOT work with gb controls :/ Was weirdly hard to keep the rhythm/properly hit the notes in most songs and I'm usually good at rhythm games! cool that this is a thing that exists at all though

Love this game, there's just something so addictive about seeing charts from the arcade game crammed into a Game Boy game. The sequel, Gotcha Mix, is a bit better, but this one is Game Boy compatible, so that means I can jam out to Rakugakids on my Game Boy Pocket.

Though the best Bemani GB game is Pop'n Animation Melody IMO

I mean, I'm not sure you could do much better for a beatmania port to GBC honestly. Neat little novelty.

picked this up randomly because I saw it on retroachievements, lot of the charts really don't work with the control scheme and the tight timing window is hard to judge with the chiptune audio and slow scroll speed but the fact this exists at all is just really neat

The fact they went through the trouble of converting techno tracks into fucking gameboy ass chiptune is commendable
